Double Branding Irons The BJC irons are simple to use, Turn on iron to heat up, then put your left hand in glove if you are right handed or right hand in the glove if you are left handed. TIP: Place a small towel or pot holder on counter so you don’t burn anything. Now section your hair into your desired size. If you are doing the whole head it is best to start at the nape area which is the neck area, pinning up the remaining hair until you are ready for new section. If you are just spot curing then you can start anywhere. Next with the hand that has the glove, make sure the hair is combed free of tangles and start in the middle to top of the hair shaft. Then wrap the hair around the wand of the iron, when you get to the end of the hair hold the end with your fingers not your hand! Hold for a few seconds (10 - 14) just like a regular curling iron then release the hair and the hair will have a fantastic curl. Then go to the next section. Tip: Always start with dry hair. If you use a styling aid in your hair first and blow dry it the curl will last longer and be tighter. For softer curl use less product. It’s fun and fast! ALWAYS WEAR YOUR GLOVE!
